"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" (John 9:4, KJV).
I am one that likes to get things done when I have the opportunity. I do not like being idle because I know that there is something that I can get accomplished. How many times have you found yourself putting off something important claiming that you can do it later? God gives each of us a certain amount of time on this Earth. It is up to us to use that time to the best of our ability. This year has reinforced the fragility of time and how short life is. The way that we measure time compared to how God measures it is so different. "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" (2 Peter 3:8, KJV). I intend to use my time wisely by only focusing on the things that are important. What can you do to bring honor and glory to God? How can you use your gifts to bless others? Do you know what your purpose is? The most important thing to do is what God wants. Only His will your life matters because He is the one that will judge you at the end of your journey. Instead of being idle and lackadaisical, choose to get busy!
